We promise to deliver a service that is designed to maximise residents' independence and help them participate more fully in activities that are important to them. We will fully involve the resident or their nominated representative in their choices and decision making.

We promise to provide the care team within the home with tools that will clearly explain the resident’s vision levels in a way that will inform care planning and using language that everyone can understand.
Deliver an exceptional service
We promise to provide your residents with a professional, high quality, eye care service that is delivered by a local, friendly and supportive optical team and meets the individual needs of your residents. For example, we are able to tailor our eye test to meet the needs of residents who may have dementia or a cognitive impairment.
Provide the highest clinical standards
All our optometrists are fully qualified and registered with the General Optical Council (GOC), members of the Federation of (Ophthalmic and Dispensing) Opticians and use industry-leading portable equipment.
Our clinical staff are subject to regular supervision and clinical audit and we have robust quality assurance and clinical governance procedures in place.
Private and confidential Service
You will always be offered a choice of testing area for the eye test. We will ensure that you are treated with dignity and afforded privacy whilst ensuring your personal health details are discussed in a confidential manner.
Provide a safe service
We also provide a service that not only adheres to our own professional Code of Conduct but is compliant with the Care Standards and regulations within the care home. All our clinical staff have awareness of Vulnerable Adults procedures and have had all the relevant safer recruitment checks carried out such as DBS or PVG checks.
Deliver a robust, local, after care service
We will provide a local customer care team who will respond to any queries quickly and efficiently. We promise to provide free adjustments and glasses repair as standard.
We believe that we need to continuously improve our service and we welcome any comments or concerns about the service your residents receive. Your residents can speak to any Visioncall member of staff directly or contact our Customer Care Coordinator. We promise to continually seek out better solutions and improve our service to your residents.
Offer stylish affordable frames
We promise to actively source a wide variety of stylish frames that match your residents’ individual taste. We will carefully control the production of all spectacles in the Visioncall lens laboratory, offer these at a competitive price or, if your residents’ are eligible, we promise to deliver the service and glasses completely free of charge.
Personally deliver spectacles
We promise to hand deliver our stylish frames as quickly as possible to your residents without comprising on quality. We will personally fit them to ensure optimum comfort and customer satisfaction.
