       The Vision Call Eye Care Plan is an invaluable resource to help you understand each individual resident’s needs and enhance your care planning.

It begins with a thorough examination of the resident by the Vision Call Optometrist. You will be given a report highlighting any visual impairment and eye disease experienced by the resident and outlines the impact this may have on their risk of falling in the home.

At the centre of the plan is an accredited DVD education course. This short film simulates the impact of common eye conditions on your resident’s safety and quality of life and encourages care staff to read our reports and gain vital information on the needs of the individual people they help each day.

On completion of the course your staff will be sent a certificate from Vision call which can be used as evidence for national training qualifications.
