Book a Sight Test

Organising a visit from a Visioncall optician for a patient is easier than before. Simply input a quick few details on the resident and submit. Our team will be able to take care of the rest!

We have even included a section which allows you to remove and view all registered residents making administration a quick and simple process.  

Minor Ailment Service

Sometimes a patient may not need to or want to see the optician after their annual test. So we have included a way for you to contact Visioncall experts to give you the best advice on eye care.

All you need to do is tell us their name and a little about what is troubling them, you can even share a picture! Our experts will handle the rest and be able to help you from here.

Ask the Doctor

Dr Scott Mackie is the Director of Professional Services at Visioncall and his knowledge and passion for optical care is second to none. He is also an examiner for the College of Optometrists, on the General Optical Council and is on the national steering group for the Association of British Dispensing Opticians.

Dr Mackie shares Visioncall’s goal of delivering person centred eye care and is on hand to answer your specific questions about your patients via VC24, giving you expert advice at the tip of your fingers. All you need to do is ask!  


Care Staff Services

Visioncall want to make sure all of our partners can take advantage of our full range of services when they need to. This section groups together all the practical materials we will provide for our patients and carers.

Personalised eye care reports and reminders can be accessed here and printed for display in the patients’ home. There is also a wealth of visual resources that can be of great use in a care home such as family communication posters and quality assurance documentation.

Partnership Benefits

Taking care of our patients vision goes beyond testing their vision and supplying the correct glasses for them, we want to make things easier for them in their everyday lives.

Our ‘partnership benefits’ include all the additional products and services we believe can help achieve this.

This also includes services that benefit the care provider, and this section directs you to our dementia signage, free staff training and hearing test sections. All you need to do is browse and select what you like and what time suits your staff best.

Free Glasses Repair Service

With VC24 you can request for repairs, replacement glasses, adjustments and even simple advice to care providers 24 hours a day, which means you can truly take advantage of this service at any time day or night without having to pick up the phone.

All you need to do is tell us a bit about the resident, their glasses and even share a picture, our team will then quickly get to work on arranging the rest.

The request will then take 3-5 working days to be completed.
