Myth or Fact: Colours aren't as vibrant, should I be concerned?

Everything is starting to have a yellow tinge and colours don't look as vibrant as they used to, should I be concerned?

The part of your eye that is responsible for focussing images (lens) onto the light sensitive part of your eye (retina) is becoming cloudy and is called a Cataract. It becomes yellow which is why you see this colour and it bleaches out other colours. An eye test can diagnose this condition and refer for treatment as your vision can be restored with a new lens.
